Geodysseo's
Mission
Hello!
My name is Frederic
Journoud and welcome to the Geodysseo ('Gee-o-dee-say-o) website
and project.
Behind these few
electronic pages is a
real project, with a real mission and real
objectives to protect our world's most precious
and fragile treasures: our planet and our children.
But let me tell you a bit
more
about how this project came to life.
Originally from France
and currently a California resident, my
true birthplace is in fact West Africa where I spent
most of my youth. The people from this amazing
region of the world, with the little they
possess and their sense of generosity, taught me
very early to appreciate life every single day,
to make do with very little, and to care for the
ones in need. Ever since I have traveled throughout
Europe, Latin America, North Africa and the Middle-East.
These 20 years of wondering helped me
support the idea that we shall continuously
protect our most precious
and fragile
treasures: our beautiful planet itself and our
children. Both represent our future and it is
our role, as adults somehow in control of the
present times, to care
for them and give them as many opportunities as
possible to live in peace and thrive.
To this planet that
gives us the everyday resources we need to live,
and to the children of the world who will always
give you hope in the future with a smile at the most
unexpected moment, Geodysseo wants to give back. And
that's what the project is all about:
bringing awareness of the sheer size, beauty and fragility of our planet,
while providing support to the youngest generations in
need.
The more of us who join the effort,
the greater the impact the project will have. So please take
a moment to review this website and the project's objectives,
then join in, jump on the
saddle, and let's all go on a World Tour to
discover and celebrate our planet and bring smiles to hundreds
of children around the globe!
