For long course sailors, the Cape Horn and the Cape of Good Hope are some of the mythical geographical point to cross at least once in a life time.

For mountain climbers, the Everest or the K2 are also some of the mythical geographical points to reach.

For overland motorcyclist, Nordkapp (Norway) and Ushuaia (Argentina) definitely represent the two geographical extremes to be reached within a trip. Almost opposite one from the other, reaching them gives a true sense of completion to a world tour: Nordkapp, the northern tip of continental Europe represent the northern limit of the journey (71° North latitude), while Ushuaia, the southern tip of South America represents its southern limit (54° South latitude).

Of course there are other extremes points on this planet that every motorcyclist would like to reach one day, such as Prudhoe Bay (Alaska), the Cape of Good Hope (South Africa), or Stewart Island (New Zealand), but neither are they our planet's northern or southern extremes reachable by road, nor do they offer the same latitude span as Nordkapp and Ushuaia do: 125°!

Geodysseo includes Nordkapp and Ushuaia in its journey around the globe, and special events will happen at each one of these points, celebrating the reach of these two mythical geographical extremes.
