Strangely enough, the route temporarily leaves Russia to penetrate Kazakhstan for only few dozens of miles. A great opportunity to add one country to the list.

Kurgan - Ufa

This is the last leg of the Asian journey, crossing the Ural mountain range, the historical boundary between Asia and Europe.
