What is Geodysseo?

Geodysseo is a global adventure on two wheels and a humanitarian challenge.

In April 2004, Frederic Journoud, a California resident embarks on a one-year long solo motorcycle journey around the world as part of the Geodysseo challenge.

Geodysseo is an enduring adventure with a humanitarian purpose. In collaboration with the global non-profit caring organization Plan International, Geodysseo is committed to bringing assistance and relief to children and their communities visited by Journoud, in West Africa and South America.

To meet this challenge, Geodysseo and Plan have developed an on-going fundraising program that lasts for the entire duration of the world tour. This program gives the opportunity to any person or entity eager to make a difference in the life of these children and their communities, to support them in the areas of learning, habitat, health, or livelihood. Contributions will be presented to the local communities upon Journoud’s arrival in the respective communities and deployed by the Plan teams. [Learn More]
